Liam Chapman just bought a real, working time machine for only $3! Sure, it’s labeled “World’s Worst Time Machine,” but how bad could it be? Turns out, it’s so much worse than Liam could have ever imagined. When Liam tries to summon Thomas Edison to help with his book report, the time machine sends him Tommy Twinkles, a 12-year-old aspiring gangster from 1933. To set things right, Liam and his friend Elsa must embark on an adventure full of sci-fi gadgets, real-life gangsters, and a whole lot of Cheetos.

Treasure in the White City

Legend says that an eccentric millionaire hid a treasure somewhere inside the legendary "White City" at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. When Liam and Elsa start hunting for the treasure, they find out they're not the only time travelers at the fair. Not even close. Finally, with the help of the World’s Worst Time Machine, they’ll attempt a journey to the very center of time. As the kids close in on the answers they’ve been seeking, their world begins turning upside down. Who’s the hero of this story? Who’s the villain? And what happens when you find out that everything you thought you knew was a lie?
